You inspired me to push my HIIT training a bit more. I am actually going to dust off my Cardio Coach CDs and give them a shot next week. Today I did a HIIT session inspired by you (and Adam). Thanks for giving me that inspiration.
Mike
You're welcome, Mike.
Hi Alex, what type of cardio are you doing when you use the ankle weights?
Also, how do you get the visits, clock & calendar on your blog?
You're doing great!
Debbie
Alex, that six pack is really happenening and great smile, you look together man.
Debbie, HIIT is applied to my resistance training day. The design of the program I am using is a variation of upper and lower body exercises run in a circuit or supersets way with limited rests in between paired interval exercises or after a full circuit set(may contain 4 to 6 exercises with no rest in between). My ankle weights are used for additional intensity for some of the exercises in my program(such as jumping squats, pull-ups, etc.). Take note that you are also doing cardio during high intensity interval training, and it is much more challenging when rest periods are shorter. This works like a combo training for busy people which have limited time to exercise or athletes.
